Work Outfit Link Up

By : haley 4 Comments

Hi all! I’ve teamed up with a few fabulous bloggers to give you new ideas on how to approach your weekly work outfit.

My outfit details:

skirt: YSJ Vintage // top: asos // flats: j.crew // blazer: nordstrom // necklace: gift // bag: madewell // sunnies: Zero Uv

I work as a graphic designer for my day job. I’m normally in a pretty casual environment with the occasional dress up session for a client meeting. For me, constantly wearing black and white to work gets boring quick. Instead, I went for a mauve, light pink and cognac color palette.
I added these crazy cat eye glasses for a touch of glam you can throw on during your lunch break. I get bored by the standard work outfit. To switch it up I’ll add a bold lip, patterned scarf, statement necklace or fancy hair do. I feel those are ways to keep your look corporate but add your own pizzaz.
What do you wear to work?

  2. Glad to have found your blog through the spotlight weekly linkup! I love this look… and actually you and I are total “opposites” with our work looks for this week because I am wearing the same colour pattern (light pink, mauve, grey) but reversing the bottom and top colours! Great minds think alike! haha

Check out my blog as well. I’ve started following you on bloglovin.
