Work Outfit: Basic Black Pencil Skirt

Skirt: Asos // Heels: Forever21 // Top: Asos // Jacket: similar // Watch: Nixon Pencil skirts are an obvious classic. They work so well for a petite shape that’s in need of some structure. I found this skirt at Asos and thought it would be flattering because of it’s longer length. To help this work outfit not feel so drab and boring I added a bright aqua color and a bold patterned jacket. The peplum style top jets out in just the right spot to helps draw the attention away from the widest part of the body. I think you’re going to see this style a lot more in the upcoming months.
