The Short Suit

So it’s getting into the 100’s and you’ve got to attend work. How do you stay cool and still look semi profesh?
I dressed up all aspects of the look and traded pants for shorts. A big statement necklace and minimal heels are your friend in this situation. This Baublebar necklace is really something else! I’ve been eyeing it for so so long and finally decided to take the dive. It works for me because I don’t really like overly blinged out necklaces so this is the perfect amount of shine with a touch of bad assery.
The blazer really seals off the look. I’ve got a button up tank top underneath so if you need to slide of your blazer during your lunch break or commute home.
Can you wear shorts to your job? Would this look be acceptable in your work place? I’m thinking about making a modified version with a longer pair of shorts.

You really can’t go wrong with a short suit. It’s classy & edgy & utterly perfect during summer. I especially like your bold necklace! :] // itsCarmen.com ☼
