My family makes an annual Summer trip to stay in Tahoma on the West shore of Lake Tahoe. Tahoe is the second largest lake in the world at or above this elevation. It is the 31st largest lake overall and the 11th deepest lake in the world. And man it’s just SO clean and blue—you can practically see to the bottom at any spot on the lake. (facts found here.) There really isn’t anything better than being with your closest family members in a beautiful location. My boyfriend, brother, his girlfriend, mom and dad made it out this year. Josiah and I really needed to get away from daily duties and just reconnect with no worries or distractions.

Chilly outdoor day at the lake look consists of cut off shorts and layering a sweatshirt over your swimsuit.
If you’re interested in this sweatshirt, find it here.
When you only bring one towel and have to share, go back-to-back! Oh and excuse my dad who’s passed out to the left of us haha.
We took a bike ride, shortly after this Josiah busted the chain, couldn’t make it back home so we had to pick him up in the car. Sorry mom!
It was great trip but I forgot to wear sunscreen. I am currently sitting here with two wet cloths on my legs experiencing the worst burn of my life! Pass the aloe please! Lesson learned, maybe…
