Say Hello to Your Favorite Spring Transitional Piece

dress: Ruche (similar) // heels: Forever21 (similar & here) // trench: Gap similar (here, here and here) // fur stole: similar // clutch: Mimic Designs
Now that it’s Spring we can turn our attention towards our favorite transitional piece, the tan trench. I found this one at Gap last season. It was a pretty full skirt on it so I had it altered by my local tailor, who I think wanted to kill me when I dropped off the piece because I’m sure it was a pain in the arse to alter.
How fun is this textured wall? If you’re local and can guess where this spot is, I’ll buy you a slice of pizza *hint *hint!
Oh by the way, this fur stole has been stolen from another jacket and added onto this one. You’ll see what I mean in the next few photos—wait for it…
It was very windy in this alley way a big gust took my fur stole by storm! I wish we had caught the few frames after this shot because the fur piece went so high in the air and almost landed on top of the building! I think this calls for a #adventuresinfashionblogging haha. Seriously though shooting on Sundays with Vanessa is one my favorite times of the week. I feel so energized while we’re shooting. Scouting the locations and waiting for the perfect lighting is still all so magical to me. When so much of life is highly structured it’s great to exist in a space where ideas and possibilities are limitless. And for me that is what keeps this online space alive.

Love your look (and the wall)! Trenchs are great for transition looks. I’ve got a black Zara trench that I use a lot.
