Pattern Play

By : haley 6 Comments

I’ve been on a serious pattern kick lately. Maybe because you can easily mix a bunch of prints in the spring time. Today I mixed leopard shoes, lace jacket, floral top and a geometric jacket. Sometimes if I know I have a really mundane day ahead of me at work I will wear something crazy to keep me feeling energetic. Does this actually work? I don’t know I made it up and tell myself it does. One of my dreams as a designer is to create patterns. Whether it be for canvas, fabric, wallpaper, or packaging. I really don’t know. But I can’t get enough of a good pattern. So maybe I can channel that energy through this blog and make it happen out in the world.

If you’re craving more patterns, follow along on my Pinterest board here. I have a lot of patterns I’ve created that I want to start sharing them with you. I’m thinking about bringing them into outfit posts in a fun editorial like style. One of my goals with this blog is to incorporate design and illustration as much as possible and want to start stepping up my game!
