Origins Grand Opening

Last weekend I had the pleasure of hosting the grand opening of the new Origins store at the Roseville Galleria. I hadn’t been in the space for several years but was so stunned to see their bright white renovation. Definitely a place you could lost for a while.
Here’s my station for treats and drinks.
I ran into long time Origins customer, Jennifer Brandt. She’s been using Origins for 10 years, which I thought was quite impressive considering all the new brands that come into the market each year. Her trick to a flawless face is using the charcoal mask once a week. For maintenance, she uses microderm 3 days a week. She comes into the store anytime she has a skin issue and gets advice or a treatment from one of her go-to gals.
I’ve just recently started using their charcoal masks. I’ve very new to the masks scene, I’m talking the last one I did was maybe in middle school?! I can tell when my skin starts to build up, that it is in need of one. After having years and years of acne I was sticking to a pretty minimal face routine. I think I was scared to put anything new on my face, thinking it would cause a crazy out break. Adding these new products to my routine has increased the smoothness of my skin and my makeup application feels and looks less cake-y.
Met Nik Palomares a long time Instagram friend and teacher as UC Davis. Was great to finally met in person!
Upon meeting the staff and managers at the store I quickly felt the family like dynamics the place has. They’ve been working together for years and know many of their customers by name.
I almost forgot to include the sample wall! Where else can you go that has grab-n-go samples? I tried so many a favorite was the luminosity face lotion.
You can see the large porcelain round sink they have in the middle of the store, where you can have a mini facial done or test out products for yourself.
Loved the textural old world map wall with the apothecary jarred plants! I’m a sucker for any botanical decor.
The essential oil wall was my favorite. Each oil had a different scent ranging from coffee beans, rice to almonds.
The ladies were giving out cute canvas goodie bags!
My cousin and her daughter paid a visit–what cuties!
Even my sweet mom and grandma showed up! Thank you to everyone who made it out. If you get a chance check out the location for yourself, located at 1151 Galleria Blvd.
