Lady Picnic

You know that feeling when you’re at a forced social mixer? Where everyone is sort of humble bragging and trying to slowly slip their business card in your back pocket? Well this was the polar opposite.
A group of 11 creative ladies, one big park, patterned blankets and a whole lot of supportive chatter. I was so happy my friend Susan planned this event as it was a time to connect with others in our profession without any pressure.
Getting out and socializing is especially crucial when you work from home! Double bonus points if it’s a lady pow-wow. Shoot me an email if you’d like to attend the next one!
As for the look I went for a body suit, a great easy way to wear a high waisted skirt without adding bulk. These flat Soludos espadrilles are super comfy, they add a tiny bit of height without compromising comfort.
