Wearing levi’s just instantly looks like you tried harder than you did. There truly is something about this rugged timeless piece. I found this 501’s at Nordstroms and practically ran to the dressing room to try them on. They fit like a glove.
Have you seen this necklace trend? Super thin lace up necklaces? When I saw this emerging it felt like a breath of fresh air to contrast the ever popular statement necklaces. I want to try out a thinner style rope for my next attempt. I love every piece on the Are You Am I jewelry section.
I am fixated on these jagged edges, I like the contrast against the patent leather flats. It gives off a heavy dose of “I don’t give a f***”
I was browsing the consignment store, Brown & Black in DT San Jose. I really like the diverse selection they had. It was slightly western with a punch of punk. This little forest green baby was hiding in the back on the wall. I was drawn to it at first sight. My friend confirmed it was a vintage coach, for $40! A great come up!
This may be hard to believe but my go-to jacket is actually NOT leather. It’s this tissue thin army style jacket. I can wear this anywhere, the gym, out for drinks, on a bike ride, to the grocery store, you name it. The versatility is unbeatable. It’s light weight enough for fall or spring, you could even through a hoodie under it for the colder months.
My advice when wearing a super casual look is to pair it with a flashy shoe. This could be a colorful bootie, strappy sandal or patent leather sneaker. Just go a shoe that provides high contrast to the rest of the look.
How do you rock casual cool?
