Stripes, Side-Slits & Studs

Isn’t this mural fun? I was driving down J st. and couldn’t believe I’d never noticed it before. I wish I had photographed more of it because it’s an all yellow wall with posterized black and white collages—dope! Don’t worry I’ll be back to this location. I’m not usually a huge mural fan—they’re a bit too urban or hip hop for my taste but this one had all the right sunny, flowery and girlie elements that I crave. c/o dress: Surfdome // wedges: exact or similar // studded baseball hat: similar // clutch: similar  This look is a little out of the ordinary for me. But I really like to switch up my typical girlie girl style with something edgy this is studded hat. This outfit would work for a BBQ with friends, picnic in the park, a summer concert. This dress from Surfdome is super light weight and comfy, I think it will get a ton of use in the upcoming warmer months. I like the acid wash grunge feel that breaks up the traditional striped dress. If you like the vibe of this dress, check out similar styles, here. My mom loves spider mums and I think it’s worn off on me. I picked up these beauties from Whole Foods this weekend along with a green smoothie—my new go-to snack! Hope you have a great start to your week!
