SF Day Trip Guide

Vanessa, myself and Julia hit the road early Sunday morning for a day in the city. I hadn’t been for a leisure trip in a while. We lucked out with amazing weather. We were mostly eating, drinking coffee and enjoying the sun rays. I listed the places we went to in order, they were all fairly close in proximity, if you’re thinking of making the same route.

Réveille Coffee
There are a few location in the city we hit up the one in the Castro, complete with front patio. I ordered a chia seed pudding with kiwi, it was delightful to say the least. We want to hit up their cafe for our next trip. I filmed a video of our whole trip, I’m working on editing it! Should be a fun perspective.

Tartine Bakery & Cafe
We got a bit lost looking for this spot but it was worth the many blocks of confusion. The line wasn’t too bad, it did go outside the building but not too far. All the treats were on par. The girls got these hearty panini sandwiches which I helped them finish. Be sure to pick up a loaf of their fresh bread while you’re there, available after 4:30!

Azalea boutique
This was my first time visiting their sunny corner store in person. I’d seen it online and loved the minimal nature of the tops and dresses. The employees were super cool and friendly, offering advice and just chatting it up which I always appreciate. They carry brands ranging from Hudson, Dolce Vita to Baggu and Loeffler Randall.

Dolores Park
This park is HUGE. The experience reminded me on being in Paris a few years ago, eating a baguette on the hillside. The area seem to be divided into two, one for families the other for gen X. Folks were drinking wine, playing floating sticks and taking seductive selfies.

Hayes Valley
We mostly walked around checking out the cute houses in this area. I’d definitely recommend coming here for cute photo opps. We also hit up twin peaks for some beautiful sights, those up next!

Places we missed but are on the list for next time: Dandelions Chocolate, Plow, The Loving Cup, Craftsman & Wolves, Ampersand Flower Shop, Leo’s Oyster Bar, General Store. Until next time!
