NYE: a casual & dressy approach

New Years Eve is only two days away you guys! I’ve come up with two outfit ideas to draw inspiration from. I’ve done a dressy and casual approach. It’s nice to have a trusty black and white dress that you can pull out of your closet in case of emergency. This one from Lulus.com, brings a little glam with the black lace front. Find a similar style: here. I added a cropped black fur coat from Modcloth, similar style here. I was cruising Urban Outfitters.com a few weeks back and spotted these tulip style metallic shorts and knew I had to have them. Find a similar pair: here, here and here. I wish I could take credit for these fabulous Schutz heels, but I borrowed them from the ever fabulous, Babe-Sicle. This holiday used to stressful for me in the wardrobe department. But planning ahead this year has definitely helped ease my anxiety. I haaaate going out on the day of an event in search of an outfit because I always end up setting from something subpar.  What’s going to be your New Year’s style approach?

Wow, you looks so good in that dress, babe!! I usually prefer casual, but this time I’m going with the dressy look, you look phenomenal.;) And I that first shot you look like Cameron Diaz, I swear to Santa!!!:D

Girl, you look amazing! Both these looks are stunning. I especially love those gold shorts. I wish it was even just a bit warmer than -30 where I live, because it really does put a damper on a new years ensemble!

Thank you for the kind comment- I would love lilac hair but my hair a in too bad of a condition to bleach it so I’ll stick to plumb coloured hair for now
