Mint + Mustard

I wanted to try a new color combo, mint + mustard yellow. I would never think to mix these colors. But I’m pretty happy on how it turned out. I didn’t have a mint top that worked with the skirt BUT I did have a dress. And when I say dress I’m lying because it’s actually a night gown. I lucked out because the dress was shorter than the skirt, so no one knew about my layering cheat! I have this odd problem where I tend to like pajama tops better than regular shirts. This outfit is a good example of improvising to stretch your wardrobe. Have you tried layering a dress underneath a skirt?
