Fleece lined tights & cut out dresses

I almost feel bad introducing my favorite leather jacket to you guys this late in the fall game. This jacket came into my life a few months back during a BIG sale at Nordstrom. This jacket is thee softest jacket, it’s like touching butter. It’s a common occurrence to have friends petting my arms at parties—it’s THAT good. It’s real leather because well my old favorite leather jacket (see here) started to crumble apart and well that’s just not fair. I actually love this one more than the old one. Notice the quilted pattern on the shoulders and ribbed panels on the forearms? Umm ya it’s worth it to invest in a leather jacket that you’re in love with. Don’t settle.   Wearing black doesn’t have to mean you’re gothic or attending a funeral. Yes, this is outfit is contrary to my advertised name “colour me classic” But hey I’m a designer and sometimes all black is freaking sleek man! Give it a try, it’s slimming and with the right cut out pieces like this dress you can liven it up. This dress is my #1 layering buddy. So it’s a bit too cold for just tights this time of year. So I’m wearing my fleece lined tights by Tabi socks. These don’t have feet so I tuck them over my heel and layer them over a black sock with a black shoe for an elongated leg. Don’t tell me you don’t have black socks, tights or shoes because I don’t believe you. This is an easily achievable look.

I love a solid leather jacket! That dress is gorgeous too. I love how you layered the socks + leggings.. I need to keep that in mind next time I think I’ll survive wearing tights out in the winter..

  2. Soooo I'm totally copying this. Genius. I have a dress I layer with tees but a long sleeve is perf! And that bag! I may find myself in TJ Maxx soon!
