A Star is Born

Guys! I just shot this look with my new intern, Elena! Within the first 10 minutes she was starting to get the hang of the shots I was looking for—impressive!  It’s very interesting art directing shots, trying to be in front and behind the lens is a tricky task. If you’re ready this Elena—thank you! It feels so strange introducing someone to this part of my life. Her feedback was that she couldn’t believe how easy and quick it was. I suppose a good lens and camera will do that for ya! Although, a good portion of creating a decent blog post, is the forethought of outfit and matching a location. The post production of editing. Trying to come out with something half witty or decent to read. Then posting it out to social media networks. Then multiply that X 156 times a year. Oh and be completely inspired each time you do it 🙂 haha.

I wanted to put together an easy breezy type look. Switch out the graphic tee for the favorite one hanging in your closet. I just got this one from Brandy Melville, it’s super soft and stretchy. Perfect cotton blend. As a designer it’s hard to find a good graphic tee because I get so easily turned off from designs that are over or under done. I like the bold star graphic.

I think you could easily wear this look to work for a more laid back day.

What do you think of these heels? I always have the weirdest mixed feelings when I put them on. They are probably the least “me” item I own. But it’s fun to step out of your comfort zone if only for a day.
